Welcome to tips-2-go...
...for free betting tips, free bets, league tables and form info.
If you're like us (and most punters we know) your betting will usually take the form of a treble, four-fold or five-fold before the match on a Saturday, Sunday or midweek.
This goes against everything most gambling sites and 'experts' will tell you. It is however, how the majority of punters do their gambling.
This site is designed for the punter who isn't interested in taking the fun out of betting with staking plans, bankrolls or risk management but instead enjoys a casual flutter on the footy at the weekend or whenever. We found that with a little research and effort you can greatly improve your chances of getting one over on the bookies.
Following a few simple rules can make a big difference to your success.
For a start, so many punters reach for the sky with long accumulators which stand little chance of ever coming up. Bookies love people who stick on ten team accumulators every week in the hope of that big win. Limiting yourself to three, four or five picks at the most will greatly improve your strike rate.
Also, there's so much more to football betting than 1, 2 and X!! Since the advent of the internet, a whole new range of markets have become available. We scour these markets to unearth the little gems that most punters overlook. With a little research using the wealth of statistical software available free on the internet nowadays, it's amazing the trends and patterns you can discover.
For example in season 2006/2007 in the Spanish Primera Liga, 16 out of Real Sociedad's 19 away games were under 2.5 goals. This equates to odds of less than 1.2 (1/5 in fractional odds), when much better odds of around 1.8 (4/5) will actually be quoted for this type of bet.
In the same season, in the English Premiership, 15 out of 19 of Aston Villa's home games were under 2.5 goals. These are just two examples of the types of trends that can easily be picked up on with a little effort.
We won't bamboozle you with loads of picks leaving you confused as to where to put your cash. Instead we provide one well researched multiple we've come up with after following a few rules and using our statistical software. It's up to you if you want to follow our lead or not but we at least aim to give you a few new ideas for your bets.
We don't charge a subscription for viewing this information. All we ask is that if you are opening an online bookmaker account you do so through one of the links provided on here.
Good luck and sensible gambling!
